Collision Course
Mr. Nice Guy himself, Mike Leland, hasn’t been able to shake the fog he’s been in since his parents were killed in a violent car crash at the hands of a drunk driver four years ago. A star collegiate athlete at the time, he’s since graduated and landed a great job in his old stomping grounds in Northern California.
Life goes on, though not as it had before. The tragedy befalling his family left him forever changed, though those around him would be hard-pressed to discover he’s been unable to move on. His closest friends, Kevin and Josh, see his struggle and would do anything to help him, though they’re clueless what he needs. They’d like to see the drive which used to set Mike apart return, but have long since resigned themselves to the fact it isn’t going to.
Out of nowhere, Carrie Shriver plays into the equation. When she unexpectedly shoots out in traffic in front of Mike, he can’t stop in time. How will the ensuing accident alter the trajectory of his life a second time?
