An ARC is a ‘proof’ version of a book, -a ‘final draft’. This means it’s still in the works and could likely contain grammatical errors, typo’s, spacing and other technical issues. It may
or may not have the final cover art, if any cover art at all. It is, however, the last-stage manuscript before the final version of the book.
At this point, there would most likely be few additions and cuts. I’d still be working with the editor, and some passages could possibly be rewritten. At this point however, the story and feel of the book are well established and will not change. This would be the stage where the final version is being polished.
An ARC can be sent directly to your kindle if you supply your kindle address. Each device where you can read a kindle book has it’s own kindle address (kindle, kindle fire, tablet, PC, iPad, iPhone, Android, etc…). You would need to supply the address for the device on which you wish to read the ARC.
If you don’t know your kindle email address, click here to find Amazon’s tutorial on where it can be found.
I can send it to your regular email address, but it’s a .mobi file (kindle format). You will still need to find your kindle address to forward the attachment, or you can follow this Amazon tutorial to load in into your kindle content file on your PC or Mac.
